Still it is the postseason and the Tigers will have Tarik Skubal on the mound in Game 1 looking to prove that he’s learned something from some big game struggles against the Guardians over the last calendar year. One would assume that the Guardians will be going with the very tough Gavin Williams in Game 1 to match up with Skubal.

Clemson is off in Week 5 after losing to Syracuse in its second ACC game in Week 4. The Tigers will use the open date to recharge physically and emotionally to salvage what's left of their season. Clemson will face UNC (2-2) on the road on Oct. 4 (noon ET, ESPN) at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Week 6.
