Jokiharju was acquired by Boston from Buffalo on Friday in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick. Jokiharju has three goals, six points, 35 hits and 31 blocks in 42 appearances with Buffalo in 2024-25.
Jokiharju was plus-1 with seven shot attempts (one on goal) and one block in 18:38 in his Boston debut Saturday in a 4-0 win over Tampa Bay. Jokiharju stepped onto the ice alongside Nikita Zadorov on the team's top pairing -- that's a huge upgrade for a guy who could only get into 42 games with the Sabres this season.
