A North Texas high school was placed under "shelter" status and had an increased police presence Monday because of a threat posted on social media, police say.

ARLINGTON, Texas — A North Texas man who was sentenced to 60 years in prison will now serve a life sentence after being convicted of sexually exploiting more than a dozen young boys and girls and filming it, officials said Monday.
