The Welcome Home celebration begins at 5 p.m. on First Street in Addis by the RaceTrac near LA-1, where John Foster will parade down, right in front of many homes along the street. After the parade, John Foster will ride a boat down Bayou Plaquemine around 7 p.m. Boats are welcome to join from the riverfront.
The evening began with five hopefuls, each delivering two performances that would determine their fate. The remaining contestants—Slater Nalley, Breanna Nix, John Foster, Jamal Roberts and Thunderstorm Artis—received mentorship from Broadway legend Lin-Manuel Miranda, who guided them through their Disney-themed song selections.
