Commuters in New York and Connecticut were experiencing heavy delays Friday after a Thursday evening outage hampered Amtrak and Metro-North Railroad service through Connecticut, and sources said

Metro-North Railroad said commuters on the New Haven Line have faced 10-to-15 minute delays since train service began at 5 a.m. Friday morning.
