A California woman took out a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend the afternoon of Oct. 15. She was killed just after 11:30 p.m. that night.

A man with a history of domestic violence shot and killed his ex at her Bellflower home, wounded her adult son and then fatally shot himself, officials say.
