BOSTON — Celtics fans at TD Garden greeted a familiar face with a polite ovation on Saturday night as Guerschon Yabusele made his return to TD Garden. The 6-foot-8 big man inked a one-year deal with the 76ers in August, returning to the NBA five years after Boston waived him with one year left on his rookie deal.

The Philadelphia 76ers will start rookie Jared McCain as well as Guerschon Yabusele against the Boston Celtics in preseason on Saturday.

In a preseason game that featured a Sixers team resting almost all of its rotation vs. the defending champs, Jared McCain was the only true bright spot.
