PIRU, Calif. (KABC) -- An evacuation warning was issued as firefighters battled a brush fire that quickly spread to at least 1,200 acres near Lake Piru.

Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for an area near Lake Piru in Ventura County as firefighters worked to contain a fire that has grown to at least 200 acres.
