Actor-director Divya Khossla recently reacted to Karan Johar's cryptic post on Jigra row. Divya had claimed that Alia Bhatt's latest release Jigra is a copy of her film Savi.

After Divya Khossla accused the Vasan Bala directorial Jigra of copying her film Savi, which was released in May, filmmaker Karan Johar posted a cryptic message, appearing to address the controversy.

Divya shared a picture of an empty cinema hall on Instagram and called the collection of Alia's film false. After this, Karan Johar shared a story on his official Instagram account reading ' keeping quiet is the best answer for fools'.

Khossla shared an Instagram story that read- “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where.”

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra was released in theaters on October 11, 2024. Directed by Vasan Bala, this action drama failed to resonate with majority of audiences and actress-producer Divya Khossla, wife of esteemed producer Bhushan Kumar.

Jigra collected just Rs 4.55 crore on its opening day. It is Alia Bhatt's second worst opening in her career after Highway in 2014.
