Kennedy Center President Richard Grenell pushed back against reports that cast members of Les Misérables are planning to boycott a performance attended by President Donald Trump next month, calling any such move “unprofessional” and a sign of “intolerance.

Patrons can pay $2 million to see a preview of the “Les Misérables” and snap a photo with Trump, but they won’t be seeing the whole principal cast.

Artists and donors are bailing. Ticket sales are down. Things aren’t looking good for D.C.’s premier arts institution.
