The New England Patriots have officially brought on Mike Vrabel to be their new head coach. He was the clear-cut favorite from the beginning of the search and the two sides were able to work out the details to get a deal done.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Mike Vrabel is the new head coach of the New England Patriots, replacing Jarod Mayo who was fired after one season on the job. The Patriots hope that this time they have the right man to wear the hoodie.

“Yeah,” Vrabel responded on “The Greg Hill Show,” when asked if McDaniels was on his list of candidates. McDaniels has been connected to Vrabel since the beginning of the Patriots’ head coaching search. If he joins Vrabel’s staff, it would be his third stint with the team as an offensive coordinator.
