A 33-year-old man from Pennsylvania was just sentenced to life in prison after he fatally shot his father, beheaded him and then posted a video of his severed head to YouTube

The Bucks County man who posted a video of his father’s severed head on YouTube was convicted of murder Friday.

Justin Mohn, the Levittown man who made national headlines last year for displaying his father’s severed head in a YouTube video, was convicted of murder, terrorism, and related crimes Friday by a Bucks County judge and sentenced to life in prison.

“YouTube has always required creators to upload ‘original’ and ‘authentic’ content,” YouTube said in its initial notification about the policy change. “On July 15, 2025, YouTube is updating our guidelines to better identify mass-produced and repetitious content. This update better reflects what ‘inauthentic’ content looks like today.”

The company is clarifying what it has called a minor change in how it pays video creators that could have big implications for viewers.

While YouTube has been cracking down on such content, the rise of AI technology has turned the platform into a cesspool of AI slop.
