St. Louis Cardinals manager Oli Marmol provided an update on Willson Contreras after his third straight absence from the lineup.
St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Willson Contreras left Tuesday night’s 3-0 loss to the Colorado Rockies at the end of the fifth inning with a right foot contusion after being hit by a pitch in the bottom of the fourth.
While the Cardinals continue to rest All-Star Brendan Donovan in hopes he can avoid the IL, the limitations have left their bench limited.
