In a free-flowing interview after winning the Club World Cup, Cole Palmer has revealed the teammate he is closest to at Chelsea.

After scoring a pair of goals to lift Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup, Palmer who also was named Man of the Match in that tournament, was honored in his father’s hometown of St. Kitts and Nevis, presented with the nation’s jersey. It was reported as Palmer’s first time visiting the tiny Caribbean nation, but his reception was grand.

"I knew he was going to be here, but I didn’t know he was going to be on the stand when we lifted the trophy, so I was a bit confused," Palmer said.
