Through a unique private-public partnership “Sesame Street” will be available on both Netflix and PBS beginning later this year

Netflix, with the help of Cookie Monster, announced the move on social media on May 19, with a cute video. "N is for Netflix," the post began. "Sesame Street is joining the Netflix family! Brand new episodes — as well as past seasons — will premiere later this year."

The new season will feature some changes and the return of segments like “Elmo’s World” and “Cookie Monster’s Foodie Truck.”
