The Cincinnati Bengals could have another free-agent option as NFL cuts happen ahead of the deadline. Monday, the Miami Dolphins released Mike Hilton, who left the Bengals this offseason via free agency.

The Miami Dolphins, along with the NFL’s 31 other teams, must trim their rosters from 90 to 53 players by 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

The Dolphins cut veteran blocking tight end Pharaoh Brown. Miami coach Mike McDaniel said Brown and veteran cornerback Mike Hilton can still play, but they feel good about the other players in the room at those positions. The Dolphins have cut CB Cameron Dantzler, according to a league source.

With the preseason now in the books, the Dolphins turn their attention toward the 2025 NFL regular season. There were some final takeaways from Miami's last preseason tilt. Chief among those is the fact that the Dolphins exit the preseason with a relatively small number of injury concerns.
