The firefighter, a 25-year-old woman, “sustained a serious head injury around 8:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Jan. 7, according to a post on X from Erik Scott, public information officer for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A Ventura County firefighter was struck by a vehicle Tuesday while deployed on the Palisades Fire. The Ventura County Fire Department said the firefighter was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. His injuries were described as minor, officials said.
