Divya shared a picture of an empty cinema hall on Instagram and called the collection of Alia's film false. After this, Karan Johar shared a story on his official Instagram account reading ' keeping quiet is the best answer for fools'.

Khossla shared an Instagram story that read- “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where.”

Directors Karan Johar and Divya Khossla seem to be involved in a spat following the release of the former's latest film Jigra on Friday. Divya has accused Karan of plagiarising elements for Jigra starring Alia Bhatt from her own movie Savi, which hit theatres in May 2024, sparking an ongoing spat between the two.

Jigra collected just Rs 4.55 crore on its opening day. It is Alia Bhatt's second worst opening in her career after Highway in 2014.
