A Kentucky man's persistence paid off in a big way recently. Kentucky Lottery officials said William Elliott, of Stanford, Kentucky, recently won $150,000 on a Powerball ticket. Elliott's winning ticket matched the four white ball winning numbers in July, with a prize of $50,000.

The Kentucky Lottery says Monday night's Powerball drawing produced a $10 million winning ticket, with Double Play, purchased in Oldham County, right outside of Louisville.

The winning numbers in the Dec. 20 drawing are 27, 35, 41, 56, 60 and Powerball 16. If you have the winning ticket, Kentucky Lottery says to call 1-877-789-4532 to schedule a time to claim the prize.

Two big lottery winners in Kentucky have yet to claim their prizes. Someone won $225,000 from The Cash Ball 225 drawing Thursday night, but the prize has not been claimed. The winner purchased the ticket at QQ Food Mart in Owensboro.

The Powerball jackpot has skyrocketed to $565 million, marking the largest prize of the year. With the winning numbers 40, 23, 49, 65, and 69, the cash option stands at an impressive $255 million.
