Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi took home the $10 million first prize by eliminating John Wasnock in heads-up poker to win the World Series of Poker main event Wednesday.

Michael Mizrachi left the final table at the World Series of Poker main event as a champion. Mizrachi won the final table at the main event at the World Series of Poker on Wednesday, taking home a $10 million payout with him. His win came behind a flush against John Wasnock's two pair.

Mizrachi, a Jewish Florida native, won his eighth World Series of Poker bracelet at the showdown Wednesday, tying him for the fifth most of all time and marking his first win in the competition’s main event. He also took home the $10 million first prize.
