Someway, somehow, the New York Knicks found a way to beat a gritty Washington Wizards team on the second leg of back-to-back Saturday, winning in overtime by a score of 136-132 in a back-and-forth thriller that included 31 lead changes.

New York won their seventh straight contest but needed an extra period against one of the league's worst teams to do so.

So what should’ve been an easy evening turned into a dogfight for the Knicks, who required 55 points from Jalen Brunson to squeak out Saturday’s 136-132 overtime win. Brunson was a scoring machine with his double-nickel, collecting his third game with 50 or more points since last season.
