Former Celtics great Paul Pierce was so confident in his team in Game 2 against the Knicks, he said he would walk to work barefoot “in my robe” if they lost for a second straight game in the second-round series.

Just an hour before publishing this post, I wrote about how the Hall of Famer's on-air bet on FS1's Speak completely backfired -- he was so certain the Boston Celtics would beat the New York Knicks in Game 2 on Wednesday that he said he'd walk 15 miles from home to work in his robe if they didn't.

Pierce was in fact wearing shoes for his walk Thursday, according to photos obtained by The Post. The distance from Pierce’s home to the “Speak” studio amounted to a total of 20.2 miles, taking him over eight hours to complete.
