Jul 15, 2021 · Congress permitted appeals and writs of error from the U.S. Court for the Indian Territory to go to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. The statute did not formally change the composition of the Eighth Circuit, however.

The Act repealed the appellate jurisdiction of the U.S. Circuit courts, established the U.S. circuit courts of appeals, and authorized sitting circuit judges to sit on the new court in their respective circuit.
