Frenkie de Jong (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈfrɛŋki də ˈjɔŋ]; [2] born 12 May 1997) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for La Liga club Barcelona and the Netherlands national team. He is considered one of the best midfielders in the world.
