Clearly, the automated message is targeting the D&G area and we even got a call ourselves! Unfortunately, a victim has handed over more than £4,000 to the scammers this morning and we want as many people to know what the scam sounds like so they don't become a victim! Interactive Voice Response (IVR) scam is a new method that scammers are using to steal your money. Beware of fake calls from scammers impersonating HSBC or HSBC Amanah. If you receive a call from an unknown number with a voice recording saying it’s from your bank with instructions for you to approve transactions, do not press any number and end the call immediately.
