The Passage is a unique water feature in downtown Chattanooga, by the aquarium. The water runs from early May until September. It marks the beginning of the Trail of Tears, and you’ll be able to read about some of the history on the meaning behind The Passage there as well. But it’s also a gathering place for people for all over. You’ll hear children laughing and splashing, plus you’ll be able to look out at the Tennessee River from the bottom of the stairs.
