Peterborough Fire Service is currently on its third fire in days this time they responded to a vacant rooming house on the corner of London and Water Streets. At approximately 8:15p.m. firefighters arrived on scene to heavy smoke and flames coming from the second story at the rear of the building. It took over an hour for firefighters to have the fire under control. It appeared firefighters fought the fire from the exterior of the building also using the Ariel truck to fight the fire from above.
