Mahogany Viewer for Adam's and Co. Magic Lantern This lantern slide viewer was manufactured around 1895 by Adam's and Co. in London. Mazo's sold similar ones, describing them as follows: “A small parlor instrument for viewing projection slides as one would ordinary stereoscopic slides and for studying them closely.” The magnification obtained is very sensitive and gives a certain relief through the prisms. The slides change in the sliding frame. The viewer is made of varnished mahogany. --------
