Moulting season is upon us, and all the birds are dropping their feathers to make way for lovely shiny new ones to come through. This is a process birds go through every year to keep their feathers in good condition and repair any damage caused over the previous year. Moulting Friday .. it really takes half the fun away. If birds only knew when to die that would be great.
