And... another release... 😲❤ After 501 days in rehabilitation at FreeMe Wildlife, the time had come to finally release this magnificent Marabou Stork to the wilds of The Greater Ukuwela Nature Reserve. The FreeMe Wildlife team had put immense amounts of time, care, and enrichment to prepare this bird for this day. 😲🧐👍 Captive bred and parent raised, this bird needed to molt and regrow its primary wing feathers after they had been cut to prevent it flying from its enclosure.
