Bobcat #25-3628 has reached another important rehabilitation milestone! As part of her preparation for release, rehabilitation staff recently played recorded coyote vocalizations near her enclosure. Although she had been sound asleep, the young Bobcat immediately woke, oriented toward the sound, stayed low, and quickly sought cover. That cautious, defensive response is exactly what the team hopes to see as she continues to develop the skills she will need in the wild. Watch the video to see how
