The railway line between Dover and Folkestone could be closed for months, causing headaches for commuters well into the New Year. Cracks along the sea wall near Dover harbour were discovered on Christmas Eve, and the line was found to be too dangerous to keep open. Now engineers are assessing the full extent of the damage. Transport history was made yesterday with Australia's most famous steam train, Locomotive 3801, crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge for the first time. Locomotive 3801 travelled across the bridge ahead of the Transport Heritage Expo at Sydney's Central Station from October 1st-3rd 2022.
