KARRATHA BACK BEACH 🌊🌪🌊🌪 City of Karratha Mayor Peter Long posted an update to residents yesterday from 'back beach' in Karratha, a popular boating launch ramp. "Winds across Karratha haven’t been as bad as feared - though Roebourne, being closer to the centre and has had gusts to 154 km/hr today," said Mr Long. "Power is still out to Point Samson, parts of Wickham, Stovehill Road area and the Burrup Peninsula due to failure of some remaining overhead transmission lines." Tides will be high
