Check out the target training that our animal care staff have been working on with our pelicans! The purpose of this training is to mitigate the competition between the Zoo's pelicans and the wild pelicans that come every winter. This training allows all of the pelicans to come closer when feeding, so that the fish goes directly to each individual pelican.
