The Special Operations Rescue Team, also known as SORT, recently conducted swift water rescue training. This team consists of Sheriff's Office Deputies , Fire, and EMS teams, who regularly train to maintain their skills and prepare for emergency situations. With the amount of rain we have received this year, our Mason County rivers are still at high levels. Remember, the water can move quickly and unexpectedly, causing dangerous situations.
