On April 14, 2000 ECW aired on TNN. Just days after Mike Awesome appeared on WCW Nitro, he appeared at an ECW house show at the Murat Theater in Indianapolis, Indiana to drop the Ecw championship. Officially a WCW employee, Awesome showed up in the building for a very tense situation and dropped the belt to then-WWF employee Taz, who dropped the belt the following week to Tommy Dreamer at the ECW arena. | Davenport Sports Network
